Verbosity in Signs

I saw this sign along the walkway leading out of Orchard Mrt station. Even the wheelchairs are handicapped. :) It should have just read "Wheelchair Users".

Also, my brother pointed out another way of interpreting this sign: A group of handicapped wheelchair users can be found on the left (perhaps on sale?).

Perhaps a better way to phrase it would be "Wheelchair Users, Please Proceed This Way for the Stairclimber".

What do you guys reckon?
